Welcome back, Insider. Apple's iconic "Mac vs PC" ad campaign defined a tech rivalry for an entire generation. Yesterday, Anthropic may have initiated a battle of its own with OpenAI — using a simple message that could come to define the AI race over the coming years.
Today: Learn about Anthropic’s satirical ad campaign, how to create stunning slides with Kimi AI, and get the latest prompts and trending social posts.
The Essentials
1. Anthropic commits to staying ad-free with four-part ad campaign. Anthropic reaffirmed that Claude is “a space to think” and will remain ad-free, meaning no sponsored links, advertiser-influenced responses, or third-party product placements. To back it up, the AI leader released a satirical four-part video series (including a Super Bowl spot) showing AI assistants awkwardly pivoting from helpful advice to product pitches, all set to Dr. Dre's "What's the Difference." The move comes just weeks after OpenAI confirmed it would begin testing ads in ChatGPT. Watch all four ads here or check out Sam Altman’s response.
2. AI advancements are triggering more stock selloffs: Anthropic released 11 open-source plugins for Claude Cowork, including tools that automate legal contract review, financial analysis, sales operations, and marketing workflows. The announcement triggered a global selloff across software, legal tech, and IT services stocks as investors priced in how quickly AI could disrupt major software businesses. Not everyone's a bear, though — Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang called the selloff “illogical.”
3. Iris Finance releases Fin, an AI-powered Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) solution: Drew Fallon, CEO of Iris Finance, announced Fin on X — an AI agent that connects to your QuickBooks, bank accounts, and credit cards to generate real-time financial insights. A key differentiator: Fin audits its work in real-time to catch any errors before delivering results. The company claims the tool has already saved them $150K. The Headline
Beyond the boardroom: Some of AI’s most impressive work is happening outside the office

Driving on Mars. Last December, NASA's Perseverance rover followed a 400-meter route through Martian terrain — planned entirely by Anthropic's Claude. The AI-planned path was verified through a simulation that modeled over 500,000 variables before being transmitted to Mars. Engineers estimate that using Claude can help cut route-planning time in half.
Predicting Earth’s atmosphere. Nvidia recently unveiled its Earth-2 family of open-source AI weather models — three new tools that forecast everything from 15-day global outlooks to zero-to-six-hour predictions of local storms in just minutes. Mike Pritchard, Nvidia's director of climate simulation, says the models are "1,000 times faster" than conventional methods. Watch Earth-2 in action here.
Monitoring the cosmos. European Space Agency astronomers built a neural network called AnomalyMatch and pointed it at 35 years of Hubble telescope data. In 2.5 days, it scanned nearly 100 million image cutouts and flagged roughly 1,400 anomalous objects — more than 800 of which had never been documented.
Each use case shares a common trait. AI is solving a problem that was previously limited by human time, not intelligence. Scientists already knew how to plan rover routes, forecast storms, and spot cosmic anomalies — they just couldn't do it fast enough to keep up with the data. AI isn't replacing expertise here. It's removing the bottleneck.

The Problem Solver
Prompt: I’m stuck with [clearly describe the business problem: no customers, stalled growth, pricing pushback, delivery issues, time constraints, etc.].
Act as an experienced business consultant and operator.
First, ask me 10 sharp diagnostic questions to identify the true root cause (not symptoms). Prioritize questions around positioning, demand, distribution, pricing, operations, and constraints.
After I answer, deliver a structured analysis covering:
The core reason this problem exists (with evidence from my answers)
Three actionable solutions, ranked by expected impact vs. effort
A step-by-step execution plan for the highest-leverage solution (what to do, in what order, and why)
Systems, habits, or guardrails to prevent this issue from recurring
A clear 30-day success definition with measurable outcomes
Keep the advice practical, decisive, and operator-level (no fluff, no generic business theory). Focus on leverage and speed.Recipe Infographic
